Feb. 13, 2015: Last day for Scientists to submit answers
March 20: Last day for schools to register for The Flame Challenge
-Schools may join after this date, but there is no guarantee.
Feb. 14-April 15: Students judge the answers
-After screening by scientists, entries will be emailed to schools in batches.
April 15: Deadline for schools to submit their scores
April 22: Voting on finalists begins
-Finalists will be posted on our Flame Challenge page. Students in judging schools will vote through their classes.
April 28: Students discuss entries at the Worldwide Assembly
-10 schools from around the world will participate in this video conference. All schools can tune in and watch the event. A live tweet-in will take place as Alan Alda will answer questions students send him on Twitter @FlameChallenge.
May 5: Voting on finalists ends
May 31: Flame Challenge winners announced at the World Science Festival
