Flame Challenge 2013:
Students from around the country submitted hundreds of questions for the Flame Challenge II. These were narrowed down to just five. With the help of student judges and our advisory panel, this year’s question was voted on and revealed on December 11, 2012. Then, scientists from around the world began answering the question: What is time?
Panels of 11-year-olds judged the scientists’ answers and narrowed them down to three written finalists and three video finalists. Winners will announced on June 2 at the Worldwide Science Festival.
