Alan Alda receives James T. Grady-James H. Stack Award for Interpreting Chemistry

Alan AldaAlan Alda has been awarded the James T. Grady-James H. Stack Award for Interpreting Chemistry, sponsored by the American Chemical Society. The James T. Grady-James H. Stack Award for Interpreting Chemistry is awarded annually to an individual who reports on science through mediums such as radio, television lectures in ways that effectively reach the average person.

Past winners include Nobel Prize winner, Roald Hoffman and many notable science journalists such as Paul Raeburn, Boyce Rensberger and Joe Palca.
